JACOB MEROLD
Owner
Jacob, born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, credits his Rust Belt roots for his work ethic and his faith in Jesus Christ as his decision-making compass. He started working in construction and residential renovations as a teenager and continued on his career after the marine corps, working for a non profit neighborhood revitalization company, national roofing contractor and eventually managing REO for FNMA, Freddie Mac, and other hedge funds. It was during this time he began structuring a more efficient and economical way of renovating investment properties. As a licensed general contractor Jacob ensures the projects are completed to the necessary building standards, and admits his time spent on site restoring something with his hands is often the most rewarding aspect of his week.
While stationed with the Marines in Jacksonville, NC, he and wife, Michelle, fell in love with the Carolinas and knew they would inevitably raise their family here. As an avid outdoor enthusiast, Jacob loves all that the Carolinas have to offer his active, growing family--from surf to snow-capped mountain peaks. They are proud to call North Carolina home!
MICHELLE MEROLD
Owner
Michelle Merold, is a licensed Realtor, and the listing agent of TPS. She is also responsible for most of the financial aspects of the business, in addition to playing a hand in the success of everyone employed by Turnkey. Michelle is always looking to add value and ease in the everyday tasks. She is quick to offer to run a forgotten wallet/tool, return materials, meet a client or spontaneously gather for a meal. She has an eye for interior design and can be credited for the clean and modern themes seen throughout the housing projects.

Michelle was born and raised in Ohio, moving to North Carolina in 2016, which she loves! Over a decade ago, she married the man of her dreams. She is mom to their daughters, Izzy and Charlotte. Some of her favorite things in life are road trips, food, karaoke and God. She dreams of retiring to Topsail Island, where she and Jacob first started their lives together in 2010.
KRISTEN DELVAUX
Office Manager
Kristen, born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, joined the Turnkey Family in October 2019 as the marketing expert and continues to work virtually all the way from Ohio. Kristen helps turn the vision of TKPS into reality with her creativity and talent. She stumbled into marketing (and then fell in love with it) when no one else wanted to oversee the high school yearbook advertisements. Previously, she owned her own wedding and event coordinating company, which still holds a place in her heart.
Kristen and her husband, Chris, were married in 2008 and have two sons who were born exactly two years apart. As a family, they love to travel and serve others through their church. Some of Kristen’s favorite things in life are Jesus, all things makeup, chocolate, and making others laugh.
Although she isn't local here in North Carolina, she is a treasured member of this team!
GARY JACOBSEN
Private Lender | Mentor
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Gary bought is first investment property at the age of 24. He had a 20+ year medical career in cardiology before focusing exclusively on property investment. Also prior to coming to TPS, he worked as Project Manager where he helped design and install high-end Scavolini Italian kitchens. Because of his experience, unique talents and eye for layout designs, Gary is Turnkey's go-to guy, partner, friend and can often be found with a tool belt on helping to get a job over the finish line, and adding a professional touch.
In 2016, Gary and his wife moved to Charlotte. He has 2 adult sons and enjoys traveling, cruises, dining at new restaurants and road trips. His favorite part of flipping and rehabbing homes is giving property that has lost its history a new beginning so a family can build a new legacy in it.
BRITTANY VONCANON
Account Manager
As Account Manager, Brittany serves as our clients’ personal Turnkey representative, learning and catering to each one’s unique requirements for their fix and flips or long-term investment properties. Jacob and Michelle rely on Brittanys event planning/organization expertise to host special events.
Brittany was born and raised in Concord, North Carolina and still resides in the state with her husband, Ryan, along with their daughter, Avery. As a homeschool mom, her faith in God is her focus as she steps out to explore new opportunities within her current season of life. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading and repurposing items from thrift stores.
RYAN VONCANON
Project Manager
Responsible for the overall success of a job as Project Manager, Ryan ensures quality work is performed within budget and delivered on time. He creates timelines, assigns crews, manages quality inspections and recruits new contractors. With his enthusiasm and joyful attitude, Ryan plays a key role in ensuring company morale is high and has a major impact on team cohesiveness. He also lends his experience in assisting with marketing, brand recognition and videography and can be credited with much of the TPS media content. Ryan is quick to lend a hand in any aspect of a project to ensure its success.
Ryan is the husband to Brittany and father of daughter, Avery. He loves to talk about Jesus, theology and culture over a good cup of coffee. He also loves being outdoors either fishing, hiking, participating in sports or taking Jeep rides.
KEEGAN ADAMS
Site Manager
As Site Manager, Keegan is responsible for ensuring renovations and repairs are carried out in accordance with scope of work, as well as local building regulations. He performs all areas of carpentry including window, door, trim and finish carpentry in addition to light electrical and plumbing work. Over the last several years, Keegan has honed these skills working for a local general contractor. He is excited to continue growing as a craftsman, in pursuit of business/education and as a follower of Christ.
Keegan and his wife, Hannah, currently reside in Landis, North Carolina where Hannah is a second grade teacher. They have two dogs named Nash and Maggie. These newlyweds enjoy spending their weekends pulling their camper to new places and spending time with their family and friends.
